En produktiv vecka / A productive week (YOP #4)

(For English, click here)

In English

Quite a lot has happened in my crocheting since last time! The two projects I brought with me on vacation maybe haven’t received that much attention but I bought some new yarn when we went to Dollarstore. It’s called Novita Miami and it’s a cotton/acrylic blend in light gray and light purple. I’ve made quite a few dishcloths out of it this week, although I still don’t know if this yarn will even work for dishcloths. Maybe they’ll end up as decorations!

I made one star, one called “Bark sedge stitch” by Lion Brand, one spiral experiment and one to test “Bavarian crochet”, also called the Wool eater pattern. I haven’t photographed the Wool eater yet, but there are some pics of the others above :)

I’m home for a short visit to our apartment before leaving for another vacation, after which we move! Most likely I won’t be crafting much during the coming 2-3 weeks because of this, but you never know when inspiration hits. Maybe I’ll crochet up a storm!

  1. love the cloths and the grey and lilac are so pretty. I’ve only used100% cotton or a cotton and bamboo mix for cloths so can’t advise on whether the mix you have would be good for cloths or not but best way to know is to try them out. Enjoy the vacation and hope the move goes smoothly.

    • I will send some of them off to mum and dad and my sis for testing! If it doesn’t work, I still had fun doing them :)
I need to try the cotton/bamboo mix, I really love working with that kind of yarn. Thank you!

      • Your most welcome. It is my Mom’s favoured blend of yarn mix for cloths. She says they make the best ones and I must admit she’s right having a different selection here in my own kitchen and trying them out.

        • I’m also curious about flax/linen, I’ve heard it can be real good as dishtowels so maybe cloths too. There will definitely be some bamboo cotton in my next yarn order! :)
